Aisha Jamila Hinds is an American actress best recognized for her appearances on the TV shows The Shield and True Blood. Ever since her debut in 2003 she has proved her ability as an actress by giving stunning performances in television shows like 9-1-1 Detroit 1-8-7, and Under the Dome. It was initially noticed because of her part as Anna in the film Assault on Precinct 13. The film was her portrayal of Fannie Lou (a women's activist for rights) in the biographical All the Way film that earned her the attention of an actor. Hind's portrayal of Harriet Tubman on WGN America's period drama Underground was equally praised. She currently stars on the procedural drama series 9-1-1 in the leading role of firefighter/paramedic Henrietta Hen Wilson. 9-1-1 has been renewed for the third season by 20th Century Fox Television. Recently Hind finished filming on the Hollywood movie Godzilla: King of the Monsters due to be released in the middle of 2019. Her father Krishnaraj is who was an Army Scientist who passed away on the 18th of March 2017. She and her mother Vrinda have both been homemakers. Aditya is her elder brother and a merchant naval engineer. Bachchan's older brother Aditya Rai was a co-producer and wrote Dil Ka Rishta along with their mother. Arya Vidya Mandir was the High School where Bachchan studied after her family moved to Mumbai. After completing her intermediate studies in Jai Hind College, she took up a place at D.G. Ruparel College Matunga, where she achieved a 90 percentile on her H.S.C. exams. The student spent the majority of her adolescence studying musical and classical dance. Zoology was one of her subjects. Bachchan was studying architecture when she was elected Miss World in 1994. Her title helped propel her into the world of modeling's fastest route. She was enlisted by PepsiCo Inc., Vogue magazine as well as L'Oreal Paris as spokesmodel in 2003. Her acting career got off on the right foot thanks to her acclaimed roles for her in Iruvar (1997) and Aur Pyaar Ho Gaya (1997). The films defied the conventional framework that had characterized Bollywood film at the time leading Bachchan onto the forefront of Bollywood's New Bollywood. Bachchan made her a queen of Bollywood by her performance as Paro the betrayed lover in Devdas, a film that was one of Bollywood's most popular films. This was also the first Bollywood film that was screened at Cannes Film Festival. In the following years, she gained praise for her performance as Chokher Bali (2003) which is a dramatic thriller which was inspired by Rabindranath Tagore's novel. The actress was the first Indian to join the jury of the Cannes Film Festival. Bachchan made her film debut in Gurinderchadha's Bride and Prejudice, a ballet and musical version of Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice. It was at this point that Bachchan was able to bring her fame and beauty to her debut major film in English. In 2006, Bachchan returned to Bollywood with the hit movie Dhoom: 2 before releasing Provoked: The True Story in English. The actress got married Abhishek Bachchan, co-star, who is the son of Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan. This marriage was a chance to bring two of India's most influential celebrities to one another.
